The one thing I have been taking with camping a lot is my Cob.

Eggs, bacon, fried mushrooms etc. for breakfast
Coffee
can do a beer bread
Smoked chicken
if you are going to be around camp for the day, pulled and or smoked pork belly (still need to make Bacon, Apoc you did that?)
roast veg (not the chicken one)
Braai

All you need to clean is the portion used for your meat, get home and use the dish washer to sort the rest out.

For those of you that have been watching the 4WD Action YouTube videos, that Shaun Whale is quite entertaining when he cooks.

The last video that they posted had him making a fish curry and instead of rationing the red curry paste, the whole lot fell into the pot. He just shrugs it off and says it will be a hot curry. Then he added all sorts of left over fruits and stuff.

Clearly he’s not a trained chef Image
He is not a trained chef , but some of his cooking looks good :P

Why do all 4x4 programs end up as cooking shows?

I found that anything that you can prepare where time is not important, ie, Potjiekos, Staan Ribbetjie work wonders around a campsite. That give you more time for beer :)
