Wessel, dit was by 'n klein boeresportdag die naweek. Ons het geld ingesamel vir Boere wat omtrent als verloor het met die onlangse brande daar - we had to make due with what was available.

I decided to play around with dry aging at home.

Unfortunately dry aging cabinets in SA starts at around R60K. This was simply not an option, so a alternative method was researched and used.

The end result was amazing. I expected the end product to be “vrot”, but it wasn’t the case.

The smell was amazing and the taste equally fantastic.

I am still learning, but so far so good
