I want to decat the H3. Who and where in Gauteng and what software adjustments will be required?

SAC or similar should be able to do it. Or Zone Off-road.

They’d probably need to do a CAT fooler

It’ll be interesting to hear the results. The higher the mileage on the removed cat, the better she’ll go afterwards

Thanks all, will chat with Sennin.

Its not a performance issue that I want to de-cat, more reliability.

It’ll automatically be more efficient once removed. Those cats can get very clogged up at higher mileage. So removing them let’s the engine exhale properly again.

i would recommend viper performance, they also have aftermarket branches, that you can add on for the I5 and the V8. had mine ceramic coat, to get as much heat out of the engine bay (reliability precaution for over landing).

when you decat, you can install mini cats / cat foolers, but I have had many cases where the foolers didn't work nicely with the H system, making the PCM go open loop and giving horrible consumption and even Check engine lights. so to be safe lets still do your software and prevent that pesky part from happening ;)
