2019 Calendar - Planning

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

Members, as per my e-mail, please submit your proposals for the 2019 Calendar by this Friday 27 July...

The idea is to only do stuff in 2019 that we, as a Club, have never done before, stuff like Baboons & maybe a Moz trip...

The committee & the Great Andreas met in the sprawling Metropolis of the East Rand in the quaint hamlet of Witfield today.

The Theme for the 2019 Club year was Dynamic Change.

In 2019 our major Club events will all be new - no repeat of venues or functions (other than the YEF) that we have held before.

So NO River Trip in 2019 - but there will be a Baboons Trip instead.

In 2020 we will return to some of the more popular events of the past but also bring in new, fresh, exciting trips.

But a SkidPan Event will NEVER feature on the club calendar again...

Stand by for the launch of the 2019 Calendar!!!

In 2019 we will still have Kurt's Ad Hoc 4x4 Trail Day's - these are usually at your more accommodating trails.

However! we will soon be introducing a series of Extreme 4x4 days for the hardcore guys... more to follow!

Another change for 2019 will be that the 4x4AG branded Coffee Mugs that we've been handing out will be replaced by something else.
Most of the regulars have a cupboard full of Coffee Mugs - so we're developing a new gift, something a bit more 4x4 relevant.

Stand by...

How do I get my grubby paws on a coffee mug? (seeing that it will soon be a collectors' item :o )

Either I'll have to get one made for you... or you wait until 2020...

If you attend the YEF I'll give you one.
