Brad Harrison: Not White, is he Coloured?

Brad Harrison Plugs...
Most are Grey.
But you get other colours.
Which colour gets used where?
Then there are two sizes
Does it matter?
Should we be unified & consistent?

My understanding is the following, but I’m keen for expert opinions:
Red = supply (as in charging from car)
Grey = usage (as in lights etc.)
Blue = Solar
Green = plug into a vegan’s anus with high voltage
Yellow = plug into the sun for quick charging

Oh and the sizes take into account the amperage. The normal smaller size that we are all used to is limited to 50A, the larger ones take much higher current in stages up to 300A etc.

I personally use Red for supply - so the Brad Harrison sticking out the back of Fearless is Red.
Remember you cannot plug one colour into another - so Red goes to Red, Grey plugs into Grey etc...
The problem is, if I hypothetically break down (Hypothetically, because Fearless is a Toyota) & I ask someone to tow my trailer there could be problem if the person has a Grey & mine is Red.
Besides, I have a short Red to Grey 'converter' to get round this - my Compressor also has a Red Brad Harrison - so if a mate wants to use it I can plug the converted - I also have a Red to Battery Clamp converter & a Red to Hella converter....
Obviously standardizing on Grey is more practical.
But we use colours to identify. For example, if all mine were Grey (as they were) & someone plugs my solar into the wrong plug, then it could be a problem.
But usually, like most campers, I plug in my stuff to my stuff.
So, do we need different colour Brad Harrisons & if so, what do the colors mean?

There are about 3 makes knocking around ... look identical , but don't mate (i.e. interconnect Manny ...)
The lugs for the heavy amp ones have thick walls ... hard to crimp, but you probably don't need them.

I have the ones from ODW, the ones from 4x4Direct & the Bushpower ones - they do interconnect - but the same ones slide in easier...

I use grey for 12v and red for solar.
However I have chosen to use a 220v 3 pin industrial plug on the caravan simply because it is has a spring loaded cap that seals well and simply looks much better than a BH.
Alternate plug to BH is Anderson.

From what I can gather, Anderson makes Brad Harrison.
In some countries they call the Brad Harrison an Anderson Plug...

The colors of Anderson plugs indicate Voltage. It prevent for example plugging 12V into a 24v system or any other voltage.
It is however convenient to use different collars for battery input, solar and outputs. I have rigged my systems like that.
12V = Yellow
18V = Orange
24V = Red
36V = Grey
48V= Blue
72V= Green
80V = Black
96V = Brown
120V = Purple
144V = White
