Canopy electrics

#1

Post by Hedgehog »

I'm busy equipping my canopy, and now want to install the dual battery and lights.
I want a dedicated DB makeup, and some nice switchable lights...

Any suggestions on how to do it?
Is there anyone in Gauteng that you can recommend that can assist me with the fitment and DB makeup?

Speak to Anthony Forgey when he returns from the River Trip, he is based in Joburg North and does excellent work. You can view some of his handiwork on Fakebroek under “Ants Customs” or something like that.

A certified electrician will be along shortly to help Craig answer that question

Distribution BoardImage

Well done Craig.. Now, if I wanted to distribute power to various items from one source, and wanted to have the ability to manage all the switching from one central place, and preferably mounted on a nice neat manner, like on a board of some sorts... What would we call that then? :P

No need to be condescending towards Craig.
He works for King Williams Town Power.
They refer to a DB as "Daai boks waar die draad, sy kom in, en dan die ander drade oorals waai"...
or DB (for Daai Boks) for short...
