Car- Trailer -Caravan Combos/Comparisons

On our recent trip to Richterveld it was interesting to compare the towing combos we had .
All of them managed the roads and terrain

Defender 130 towing MetMini + EasyAwn
... high clearance w most baggage!
Disco 2. towing Conquerer
.... heavier bigger tow took manoevering at times
Prado. towing Boskriek B-Lapa
.... comfortable full-house and fast pack/unpack
Isuzu 250. towing. a Glider (sim to Venter)
+ Howling Moon
........ agile but ltd clearance but fast unpack/pack

All of them managed the routes obstacles
and terrains we travesed though at times
had various advantages /disadvantages.

I think the wind resistance / fuel consumption
aspect really depend on if towed profile exceeds vehicle towing it ... none of us conspic higher
relative consumption

If you towing and can afford a Boskriek (+/- Prado!)
its probly best option ... cost at R260k = new Jimny!
