Camping Cooking Tools

#1

Post by Hedgehog »

We all have a favourite cooking impliment around the camp fire . Or something interesting that you like using.

Maybe it's something strange that you found that you like cooking with. Or the latest thermometer from NASA designed for use on your spit braai.

Share them here:

Here is my newest one. An EcoZoom Jet Stove.,. Works a charmImage

Braai
Bake
smoke the meat as well
Fry etc

Nice to take with.

It is great to use on the fire or on a gas cooker.

Can use these polystyrene filled cushions
as a warming (and even slow-cooking) hot-box
when camping.
Keeps food hot for a ... long ... time.

With seperate covers could arguably double
as cushions ...

I think chef s and real cooks
call this flexi stainless steel thing a spatula.
I bought it in GAME ...

Much better than an egg-flip
for getting under a fried/poached egg
and getting it out unbroken ...
(unless you broke the egg before frying...)

... also good for cracking the shell ...

A kettle attachment?

Does it fit on the base?
