So......

I will be going on a trip to Nam, Namibia not Vietnam as it will bring back memories....

I will take one of my employees with, we both are male but her version of male is a a female with a strap-on. I will take soap on a rope with to prevent any internal injuries....

Laughs aside. I want to give both of us a place to go unwind when necessary because we are both introverts, privacy is also important. Our sleeping/camping setup will consist of an Oztrail concertina Gazebo (for shade), an Oztent RV3 but I need a second tent for her. All of this will go onto my roof rack as I will not tow the BushLapa, thus it needs to pack up quickly and be lite/small. I looked at this: https://oztrailstore.co.za/product/gaze ... -tent-3-0/

This option can also be used in future when we go to the beach with the kids while I take a rest..... Kurt recommended me the pop-up Frontrunner tent which is great for trips where there are no heavy rains nor winds. I am looking for something more sturdy for this trip and for future use but it is very important that it can take on wind, rain and is easy to set up. The Oztents are great but too expensive (i bought mine for a bargain) so I will not be purchasing another.

No RTT considered at all, I roll FJs too easily.

I would really appreciate your inputs/advice.

Just take the Bushlapa....
Packing those 3 items up eight times in 16 days is going to PITA (but not in the way you enjoy).

The Marines have a saying "Leave no man behind", but you are not traveling with the Marines...
So rather take something easier to set up and break down.
Dont even need to unhitch...

Taking the BushLapa with is out of the question, no debate here.

I want to be nippy and flexible while driving, i am willing to sacrifice on camping luxury.

Wessel.i had that setup last year on the BOTSWANA trip if you remember
The Gazebo with the side tent
Pop Gazebo open and clip the side tent

Used it for storage to Kosibay aswell

For wind the Gazebo needs to be pegged down good with Ropes

Pegs still stay a PITA

If it is a tent only for sleeping purposes. Then the Quencha popup tent may be an option?

Never owned one, but have camped with a few people that swear by them. Sun block out and cool inside, whilest folding flat which may help out your packing situation…

We have a Malamoo that has done a few trips. Easy to setup and pack.
