List of items needed in an overland vehicle

So this weekend I was supposed to go on the Barberton trip but unfortunately I could not. I purchased a lot of items to stock my overland/4x4 Prado 120 for this trip and I had the weekend to pack them in their place in the back of the vehicle. The Prado is equipped with a Frontrunner drawer system with 6 ammo boxes and a fridge slide on top.

Which items are needed to keep a 4x4 overland ready for at least 4 nights with minimal additional packing (excl food)? Yes I know it is not wise to keep all your kit in your vehicle, but i’ll take the risk. Here is my list so far: Post 2 is the total list after everyones’ input

I think two sets of Jumper Cables is excessive.

Why does the fridge have to be 56L ?

I'd rather carry a ORRA authorised VHF Radio than a two way radio.

BTW, I have done numerous 'vehicle only' trips of 2 or 3 nights with my Snomaster in the back of Fearless.
I don't have a Dual battery, I just run it off the vehicles battery. But then that is on trips where we drive a few hours a day...

Collapsible bucket.
A bit more water than 20l. (If you want to be self sufficient for 4 nights)
Small tool kit.
Braai grid and stand. And Tongs.

There will be more, no doubt.

Stuff to make a fire - but that Cadac two burner stove sounds like he prefers stove top cooking to braai'ing...

As daar meer as een voertuig is kan hulle sekere items deel? Soos jumper kabels, HiLift jacks, recovery gear, kompressors en selfs 'n noodhulp kit?
Nie so nie?

Ek sou twee keer dink voordat ek een saamvat.

A fold-up braai grid I have no issues with - it takes up very little space but is something that can rattle and drive one insane.

In most countries you will always be able to find two or three rocks to rest your braai grid on. As to firelighters, candles also work brilliantly.
