Those locking slides don’t look to be the answer

As Heinz pointed out this is a particular problem when used on fridge slides which open to the side.
I was travelling behind a caravan in the Tankwa when the fridge slide broke loose. Fortunately we weren’t going too fast and the vehicle was stopped immediately. After securing with a ratchet strap we were able to continue

From my reading it looks like Accuride make the best locking slides but you’re going to hoes.

I priced them in the UK and even there they are very expensive

I agree with Heinz. You really have to go for the heavy duty ones. The "cheaper" ones seems to break more easily.
I have installed the ones from my supplier in a few trailers and have not yet had a failure, even with many Kms travelled on very bad roads. Time will tell. These slides are super heavy though, which also counts against them, as any bracketry has to be sturdy as hell.
We tend to only use these slides on areas where our custom slide mechanisms won't work. For all our drawer systems, we use our own custom bearing slides - less that can break and way cheaper to manufacture and fit/maintain. These will be on display at the open-day.
A good understanding of 'order of vibration' help a lot in design and manufacturing when choosing components and fittings.
