Camp & Climb in Randburg

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

Today, while driving to Tecsa, my eye caught sight of a Camp & Climb outlet.
On leaving Tecsa I decided to investigate, As far as I knew, the only Camp & Climb outside of Cape Town was in Centurion.

Lo & Behold, here in Strydom Park Randburg (just off Malibongwe) is a new Camp & Climb store.
It's right next to 4x4 Mega World Strydom Park (near Linex Yamaha).

I spoke to Johan who said they opened in November but not much marketing has been done about the new store.

You would think that if a retail store opened its doors a month before their most busiest period, they would bother doing some advertising ?

Mike, the 1st post was made in late June 2022.
I think they opened in late March or April last year....

I popped into that store a while ago. Was impressed with the range of stuff on offer (they have some really top brands as well as the usual stuff) and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

Chas, I don't consider a 2minute walk of 800m far, but that's just me....

... I would advise that Strijdom Industrial Park
is hardly a safe area for the 'confused & disoriented'
to walk around unnecessarily ...
