MOOI PLAASIE - DINOKENG

We spent 4 nights over New Year at Mooi Plaasie in Dinokeng. Nice place right next to the river. No power, no water only one Long Drop. Whats nice is there's place for only 4 or 5 campers and we only saw about 4 vehicles pass in that time. So you need to take everything you need with. There's a couple of places to go if you wish to go for breakfast or lunch and you do your own game drives. What's great it's one a hour from Jo'burg and plenty animals to see.

I thought it was Mooiplasie when you posted the photo of your new tent yesterday. We spent a weekend there last year. It was great. The best part is that, because it is in a valley, you can’t hear the shobeens that surround Dinokeng.

How booked are the Camp sites in Advance
Is there a 4x4 Route/Trail

Most people book at the Lodge that's about 1 km from the campsite. We booked 3 weeks in advance. We were planning a weekend there about a month ago and the whole stand was open. If we book a month or more in advance we can book the whole site.
