Touring the Northern Cape-places and things

#1

Post by WillysCJ »

Hi.

We planning to do a bit of a Northern and Western cape trip in November. Around 12 days.

Leaving Witbank we want to go to Augrabies and the Springbok/Nababeep area then around Port Nolloth and head down a bit.

We are still weighing the options of towing the Camp trailer or just sleeping in some self catering places.

We have never been in that area and looking for some tips, advise and places to consider.

We going with the Jeep so offroad not a problem but we will be going without the kids and traveling alone.

Definetly want to explore some of the more interesting eating places and unique sleeping places. We normally do a oversees trip anually but decided to do this on in SA this year. Not too concerned about a bit more expensive places but we do want unique.

Any tips welcome.

Why don’t you do the Namakwa Eco route from Pella to Vioolsdrift?

Check out Riemvasmaak Hot Springs near Augrabies Falls.

Very is not the correct word.
Forking is a better word...

Thanks.

Will look at those options. Thinking if its that hot we might leave the trailer and book some places with an aircon. :)
