This is a lodge/campsite on the banks of the Gariep River just outside Kakamas.

The campsites are all level and grassed with many having good shade. The ablutions are excellent and kept very clean as is the entire site. Sites have electricity and water points. The owners are very friendly and are sure to make your stay as best it can be.

There are also sites with private ablutions and permanent luxury tents that you can stay in so they cover all bases.
They have a deck overlooking the river. There is also a bar and restaurant with excellent food.

I would highly recommend this lodge for a stay over or as a base to explore the area.

Alti of IronVan adventures stayed there iirc. looked great..
The area around Kakamas reminds me of the Western Cape... just less 'flamboyant'...
