Namaqua Eco Route in July?

So we have our Baviaans trip planned for december - assuming Squirrel and the Covid gloomists don't lock us down again...

Next possible outing for me and mine will only be in july.

BIL wants to go up north - Limpopo - but I'm not really into driving from one game farm to another....

Also - the aversion to people that I suffer from.

So I thought that the cape still has plenty to offer.

Would this route be good over july or is the season a problem?

Also: not sure how long the school hollidays would be so probably a 7- 10 day trip (max).

Any other suggestions?

I would skip the Eco route part.
But that area from Pella to the coast is nice.

Let me see if I can get Erno (Muttley) to send me his route...

So basically, what Erno did was;
1. Pofadder - Overnight & Start
2. Pella
3. Good House
4. Vioolsdrif
5. EksteenFontein
6. Brandkaros
7. Alexanderbaai
8. Port Nolloth
9. Kliensee.
10. Hondeklip baai
11. Doringbaai
12. Elandsbaai
13. Veldrif

He said something about Hondeklipbaai too...

Unless climate change speeds up very rapidly, July might be a teeny weeny bit cold.

To remember it is the wet season down there. In July you might seen rain for a few days in a row with the added cold conditions.

Timing might be a bad idea. Your destination though, is a good one
