there is a sand pit play ground for 4x4, but also there are
4x4 trail routes which are marked as beginner,advanced,expert.....or one can just do game drive
camping grounds and block inside game reserve are clean and maintained and there is a pool.all this at top of the mountain.literally.
there is a dam for keen fisherman(with shaded camping spots) but it have to be booked separately .
all this is inside game reserve with :impalas,zebras,wildebeest,blesbok,eland ...etc.
we also seen jackal.



for those with kids there are pools,hot and cold with slide,at main camp closer to the main road.

no map was given which is a pity as it can save lots of time for those doing only 4x4 trail.

1 day walk from krugersdorp or 30 min drive.

few km outside magaliesburg on R24.close to blackhorse brewery just opposite side of R24.New Thorndale Road.

The 4x4 Camp with no Electricity sounds ideal.

Any idea of their rates?

colleague from work was staying at main camp(stands with electricity) over this weekend.

he paid R1000 in total for 2 stands for weekend for 6 people.
so i guess something like R250 per stand per day for 4 people.
4x4 camp should be cheaper and i could count 9 stands(sign does say 10)


trail cost is R200 per vehicle.they didn't care how many of us was inside it.

best is to give them a call.
