Will they remain street legal under inevitable stringent Millenial Emmission Standards ?
Old man, go look at a cruiser 100 and 200 and see the differences. Maybe they will go back to 4.7 Petrol... stop being a hater!

If I had R1.5 million today (20 March 2020) I'd buy Sasol - the whole company.
Then, with the change, a Jimny...

The new Defender.

Kitted and painted like a G4
They have released the TREk versions in the US and UK.
Ironically it looks like that not one person in the action group have driven , seen close up or got to sit inside the new defender unless you were invited to the Experience launch and then you could not drive it. Yet every person on this forum will post the most negative BS about everything they know nothing about, not like they have read about it or heard about because as of now there is no empirical data about the new Defender.JOKE I did not know you are all just like JELO.

As for the Toyota D4D diesels which have been on the market for almost 20 years and still cant get it right. How Come if you pop one injector on the D4D you have to replace all 4 on the Fortuner or all 8 on the VX200 at R20k each R160k to replace one injector because you did not use low sulphur diesel. That is why the clever Toyota owners on drive petrol.

Which explains why very few are choosing the Defender.
You and Land Rover obviously have some work to do.
You need to get a new Defender &arrange a 4x4 Action Group Defender day.
Maybe you can change some minds.

We won't invite Kurt. :D

@manny have to invite Kurt, he is the closet Defender Lover. Don't worry Kurt when my 90 Explore arrives you can use it for a weekend.
In two weeks time I was supposed to be at the Hamptons in New York collecting a 110 with my son and we were going to drive it back to Pebble Beach San Francisco , SPLAT cancelled along with 6 air tickets to San Fran. At least Virgin Airlines have given us a year to decide when we want to go.
I am haveing a huge problem of trying to control my anger towards an asian country.

Peter. You have made a huge assumption that I don’t like the new Defender. Please point to a comment that I have personally made where I have bad mouthed the vehicle?

Kurt
The Oil Slick said if we all get together at the Land Rover experience we wont invite Kurt. I said we must invite you because you are a closet Defender fan (secret admirer) For the purpose of this quirk with Many is that I told Many some time back that I had cleared the way with Waterford Land Rover for a 4X4 action group day at Land Rover Experience enabling everyone having a hands on experience with the all new Defender, that is only going to happen around July August.
Kurt so don't be paranoid, I never said you have bad mouthed the Defender at all, My previous post was about people in general, nobody has seen the car in the flesh or sat inside and even driven it, so how can you even compare another car to the Defender or vice versa.
I am not drinking any more and I live next door to you so cheer up and come and drink all my beers.
