According to
BestCarWeb, the long-awaited successor to the Land Cruiser 200 will be on dealership floors in Japan by April 2021. Interestingly, the publication claims a new-generation Land Cruiser Prado will follow late in 2022.

If the posted figures are indeed true, then the power in the new 300 would be rather disappointing

I don't like it. Looks way to much like the current 200. Also looks like a Patrol from the side. Interior is also a bit of a let down.
But......Let's see one in the flesh. Maybe/Hopefully I change my mind

Currently the 200 (in South Africa) comes in 2 models; Stripped down GX & fully loaded VX (they added L & R lately, but that's essentially it).
The new model will probably come here in 3 or 4 trim levels.
So a direct comparison will be difficult.
I reckon the top of the range 300 (@ launch) will be about 12% more than the current 200VX-L/VX-R.
But then a GR Sport will be added above that, later.

There’s a Youtuber called Kirk Kreiffels that I follow. He’s more brand loyal than Manny, but his videos are good.

The thing’s been leaked months ago. Exterior, Interior and Engines.
Nothing new to excited about.
But I can understand why Manny’s excited. He only received the 2009 copy of Scope in his post box this week
