Icon Toyota 80 Cruiser Restomod

#1

Post by XJ Junkie »

I’m sure most guys are familiar with the various Icon builds, but this one is more of a restomod of an 80 Series Cruiser.

It’s probably one the most thorough restorations I’ve seen on a Cruiser, but with some interesting, subtle & tasteful detail modifications. Wrangler owners won’t get it, especially the tasteful stuff.

The suspension & wheels aren’t overdone & the vehicle is very practical.

But the biggest mod is the drivetrain. It’s got a Supercharged GM LSA motor making 420 kw & 790 Nm. The conversion is very professional, which is pretty normal for the work Icon do.

Tyres are shite though.

Impressive

Not a big fan of the ARB bumper. They could have done a bit better in that regard. Maybe designed something
