Yes and huge difference in price etc.

I like doing things in steps.

Getting a V8 now in nearly new condition would cost more than my house.

Also there is a difference between what I have now.
165 kw does feel better than the 132 kw that I am supposed up to have now...

Hannes, you won’t regret the choice!

You might be stuck on it for life!

Which option did you take? (Highline, plus or xtreme)

There is subtle differences between them that can make towing a pleasure or absolute nirvana!

Good choice, lots of creature comforts that will make towing a pleasure, those seats are amazing! Personally I didn’t like the 20” wheels so settled for the plus!Image

Very nice colour, but not the most practical, picks up scrathes very easy. Consider VPS, I had mine done (also Ravenna Blue) great product. Saved me a few times already.

I don't want to piss on your parade, Hannes, and I really hope you will be happy with the 'Rok, but I have an issue with VWSA's lease vehicles.

My late father had issues with a new Microbus in the late 90's and it ended up VW arranged for it to go to the factory for an assessment 3 weeks after purchase. He was visiting me in PE at the time and they arranged with one of the top brass who lived near me to take the bus to Uitenhage and loan my dad his lease car - a brand new Audi. When doing the change, this guy apologized profusely for all the issues in the Audi and told the old man that the lease fleet was made up of vehicles that failed QC at the end of the assembly line.

Hannes, I was not referring to the Amarok but to the Supercharged Corvette v8 in the pic. :D

I thought you compared the Amarok to the corvette.

But no issue would still love a v8

An Amarok is the best choice for people too stupid to buy an Isuzu...

Thys I worked for VW factory for a long time. There is possibly some truth to what you are saying but I have the advantage that I will know who had the car before and speak to them directly. My family has bought many ex lease cars through the years and not 1 dud, so I am happy to take the risk.
