The first guy. Was he responsible for the D5 as well? If yes, then the Defender is doomed before it’s even drawn on paper

From what I have heard the Defender body has not been in the public eye yet. They have been using the Range Rover, and other variant bodies.
When I did my Injectors the other day, and playing around in the new diagnostics software, you can enable and disable numerous electronic functions, including air suspension, and other some function's I looked at, even on the D3 which JLR SDD blocked.
This means you can go back to solid axle's and diif lock
