Under stressed V8s should last long.
Who in their right mind buys a Nissan?
Other than some of the Patrols....

First Feedback:
Over the last two days I have travelled about 150km with the Disco. It's all been stop-start around town type of driving.
The car is pulling very well and honestly feels to accelerate a lot better than it had been doing in the last while. Disco Td5 Autos are not known to be fast accelerating vehicles but I can easily accelerate with traffic from pull-off which has been a problem of late. The boost pressure is nicely within the requires specifications with no over-boost warnings.
Overall, I'm very happy with the service I received from Mike and his son's. He gave me a very good price and the product he delivered is top spec. The compressor wheel that he fitted looks slightly different to the original one that came out of the Disco. He explained to me that it is a more modern design and gives better flow/boost from lower engine RPM. This could also explain the better pull off that I'm now getting.
If anyone needs a turbo checked or rebuilt, I'd recommend using Mike.
Thanks Manny for giving me his info.

Nice that this story, like Mike Nel at a massage palour, has a happy ending...
