As the title suggests, this is going to be my Long Term Review of the GWM P-Series.

I bought the LS Passenger 4x4. Pupkewitz in Windhoek has got a really good deal running, so I pulled the trigger last week. Currently having some extras fitted at AFC, and getting my tracking installed.

Picking it up Saturday, and driving it home to Swakop. Will be able to give a initial impression of the Wuhan Warrior.

Until then, let the insults commence. :D

What a brilliant choice, probability one of the best vehicles money can buy, anywhere in the world. May happy miles and I can’t wait to read the long term reports over the next 10 years of ownership for you.

恭喜。祝你在這個工程奇蹟中有許多快樂的公里,在優越的共產主義中國自豪地設計

Saw a lot of them on the road in Tshwane and also quite a few here in the colony.

Would be nice to hear first hand experiences and feedback. If you'd like some inspiration on how to start a feedback thread and then keep everyone hanging, have a look at these threads...

With the GWM Poer getting more popular by the day, there's companies that started to cater for those that are in love with their cousins

Brilliant choice, from a Disco to a GWM. BTW, the Chana Double cab is also really nice, the Chinese found the perfect “value for money” spot with that vehicle and I hope the same is true for your P-Series. Many happy miles and smiles. Looking forward to see how this positive thread will transpire.

Congrats Nic.

A very underrated bakkie for a very overrated Nambian.

As long as this Thread doesnt become like other Threads where lesser bakkies are evaluated.
I remember reading one on another Forum where the owner of a failed German attempt at a bakkie wrote "Reached 50000km and not a single problem. Very impressed" about 6 guys replied (all quoting his post as is the norm with those romantically involved with their mothers) proclaiming 50k km as proof of outstanding build quality.

You need to get to 250000km with relatively minimal hassles before a vehicle can be deemed good.
My Isuzus have all done it. Few PanzerVWagens do...

Didn’t realize you also bought one! I thought you had a Vrot.

Congrats either way. 😁
