The hangar across from us at Lanseria this oak pulls in with this Jeep, I asked if it's a legit Willis Jeep, to which he said yes, but I know less than nothing about these cars. Thought you guys might have more details and also just like to see these picture. I even took a spin in the thing.
Very COOL!

I can’t really make out the VIN but it looks like a genuine WW2 Ford. You can tell it’s a Ford version because the grill had 9 slots. Willy’s were 7 slots. But both vehicles are virtually the same & had the Go-Devil engines.
Anywhere between 1941 & 45. Depending on the year, those are still quite common.
They are still damn capable

Haha, I wish. No, the guy got it yesterday, didn't have too much time to talk to him. The hangar is full of collectable cars and bikes. Even has a brand spanking new Alfa 4C in there.
There's a VERY nice Huey (helicopter) in there. I'll get some pics.

Conversions to RHD were quite common. I don’t think any came out of the factory as RHD

Daar is 'n hele paar anomalies - ek sien die speedo is ook convert na km/h. Die oorspronklike was tot 60 mpu afgemerk.
