Wow Chas! So there is a slight chance that VW may bring out a new model in 4 years time, perhaps.
Can't maybe, perhaps wait...

It's an EV, so, at this stage, it's pointless....

I like it. But I would take anything vw says on emissions with a ton of salt.

The Germans have always understated the effects that the gas they fed into a chamber has, Ricoffy...

Especially in a country that struggles to maintain any semblance of a working power grid.........
But the motor manufacturers and supplier here in ZA are even falling over themselves to introduce EVs.

Now let's think:
- Monday you commute to work: office doesn't offer recharging, or if they do, at R5/kwH
- commute back home, battery is on 20% so you have to recharge for tomorrows commute
- Recharge takes several hours without a very expensive fast charge system
- loadshedding is ALWAYS in peak consumption hours: so 17h00-22h00
- your EV doesn't fully recharge in time for the morning commute due to this
- by Wednesday your battery is flat

You reckon I traded my balls for the Cross? I've got news for you. Mine was traded for a wedding ring about 15 years ago

The Cross was a conscious decision
