The 1.9 diesel was driven and tested more than n year ago in Thailand . At that time it was also stated that the 1.9 diesel would NOT be coming to SA.
Fortunately they came to their senses .
I would not mind a new one. But too pricey for me .

The 1.9Ddi was launched in 2016 in Thailand when it was fitted to the new Gen6 D-Max.
(We still got the 250 D-Teq until 2022...
And we'll still get the 250D and 250D-Teq in the Gen6 for a few more years).
So the 1.9Ddi is a well proven motor...
