So much like lawyers and porras?
There is a difference between Lawyers & Porras:

The one group comprises upstanding characters with high moral standards.
Hard-working, intelligent, honest, reliable, dependable & trustworthy.
They are highly regarded & admired.

The other group is Lawyers.

Nissan preparing itself to take on the LC300

https://www.carsguide.com.au/car-news/n ... ughened-up

Now, Nissan is yet to confirm the Patrol Warrior past a concept study that is officially "under evaluation", but what else will Nissan need to come at the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series in a battle of the behemoths?

Patrols are not very big in ZA. In OZ, the picture is slightly different and Nisan has a much larger market share. Traditionally, the get pipped by the Toyota cruiser in terms of sales. However, Y62 Patrols have outsold cruisers for a couple of months in a row this year. Granted, the reasons for this are more because of Toyota supply issues. But still.

I'd also not call the Y62 a big lumbering V8. Big, yes. V8, yes. Lumbering ? Not so much.

Ian, you are correct, of all the markets where both the Cruiser and Patrol are available, Australia is the one where, more often than not, the Patrol outsells the Cruiser.
This was true even back in the days of the 100 series Cruiser.

But the Australians also only have Liberal parties, supported their governments stance against No Vaxx Docjovic, and sold their 2nd biggest port (Darwin) to the Chinese.
They allowed their entire motor manufacturing industry to collapse and they allow people like ASPW and Redman in.
So they have a long history of making bad choices...

They also shag sheep.....

Thanks for mentioning my name next to ASPW. Every Pajero owner in SA will now leave nasty comments whenever I upload anything to social media.

So you could get one, maybe two, dozen angry comments?
