This should be a warning to not buy a Ranger... new Ranger/Hilux sales are neck in neck yet 10x more second hand rangers for sale?

Yes it is only one variable and there could be many more swinging both ways...

New D-Max on track to be launched in the second half of this year. Hopefully it's a huge hit and kills the second-hand market. Maybe I'll find a bargain from someone wanting to upgrade to the newer model.

The new D-Max will realistically only be sold in numbers in 2022...

Mike, try stay with me here...

The OP is looking forward to the launch of the new D-Max in the hope that it's launch will affect the resale value of the current KB-6 D-Max, in his favour...

That's the plan. On Autotrader at the moment there are only 2 auto 4x4 Isuzu listed between R300k and R400k, and one of them seems dodgy - price too low for the mileage - I reckon it's a code 3 or should be...and has probably had a haircut.

Yes, based on 1. Because of the endless Sh*t we had with that thing, i’ll pass on Isuzu.
