They paid £30.
That's nearly R600.

Good luck...

... not the most exciting circuit ... and not sure it will warrant young Kurt
traveling so far to the North of England, from London(?) to pay
that large sum of money, to get stuck etc

Manny I think the tyres are key in such slippery conditions
and it did not appear they were, or at all, deflated ?
I think if the wheels start slipping and there’s a loss traction etc
it helps to steer L&R a bit and not just rely passively on the computer/s ?
I know I arrived at 3 Provs once in heavy rain on fully inflated tyres
and was unable to reach the campsite from the farm-house in the 130 ... ( black clay ),
until I deflated ... as wife was resistant to do it for me in the rain.
I’m also less experienced at losing traction or getting stuck etc
than many of you ...

I agree - none of those guys deflated.
Maybe people in Northern England are not used to muddy conditions.

In Reference to the TFL Studios Video & not the Powerfulukltd Video:
Hate to think how many sensors this Defender has but , like my basic Mad Man System (!) readings are interpreted within olerances that alert driver.
Some times its the tolerance margin or maybe its a real issue .
If I set water level tolerances too tight the alarm goes off all the time.

On 'reboot' the guys warning light disappeared.. main problem here actually seems he sent his car in to the dealer and his camera system was working ... and when he got it back : not working.
Maybe its possible 'they screwed it up' ?????

Most Land Rover owners I know send their vehicles to 'Independent' workshops in preference to 'Official' Dealership Garages, unless they're under warranty and then its a warranty cover stipulation...

The FORMAL Land Rover dealer / support system is generally far inferior to the brands general product quality... imo.

It was entertaining seeing them bounce up those steps. With properly deflated tyres they wouldn't need nearly as much momentum.

Saxj, this Thread was initially started to point out how clueless the Cockwomble from powerfulukltd & his associates are.
But Chas was great in making it about the New Defender.

In the Video Cockwombles clueless mates actually out-drive him, even though they are almost as clueless.

This Thread has been the gift that keeps giving to me...

Peter, start with De Wildt, it'll test the vehicle without risking it.

No one will take their Land Rover to an Indy until the 5 year 100 000km Care (Warranty/Service/Maintenance) Plan has expired...

The 5 Year 100 000km (whichever occurs first) Care Plan, consists of three components:
- Warranty (5 years 100 000km)
- Service (5 years 100 000km)
- Maintenance. (5 Years 100 000km)
