It's now a 5-door, so IMHO it must be compared to SUVs and Crossovers.

If it is placed in that category, it will be regarded as more prone to roll overs (much more)
I'd like to explore the evidence for this. I suspect there is none.
*Go buy one and roll it. Then I'll tell you "I told you so".

That is no evidence of a long wheel base Jimny rolling more than a SWB. There is plenty of evidence that SWB SFA vehicles roll easily.

Ricof4e, far be it for me to agree with that cantankerous old grinch, Jake's Louw, but he is right.
How does making a vehicle longer make it more of a roll over risk? Are you saying a Jeep JK Unlimited (4 door) is a greater roll over risk than a Jeep JK Limited (2 door)?

Gentlemen, I know you are getting on in years and may often forget to wipe or remember where you left your dop, but you all should know by now when I am being sarcastic and stirring. To make it easier for you, I'll mark my sarcastic posts with (*).

… Ive heard Defender 90s roll easier than 110s & 130s
though not sure of a convincing reason why;
Height and lateral dimensions are all the same
Just the wheelbase and length/diagonal dimensions
proportionately differ.
Possibly shorter 90s may be deemed more susceptible
to having BOTH side wheels fall away together excessively on a given steep side slope or a rut etc
or cornering at speed …
Long wheel bases probably have greater unsprung
weight ( greater chassis rail length , lower CoG etc)
which, intuitively, has a beneficial anchoring effect
on side inclines and under excessive swerves etc

… yet consider da perilous Fortuner Moose Test anomally !!
( … vehicle just rolls & sheds bumper … a la lizard tail … ! )

I'll believe it when I see it. Speculation and imagination don't make reality.
It has taken more than 2 years but, as Woolf points out above, we are eventually going to prove you wrong...
