Vehicles on my wishlist

#1

Post by Mike Nel »

This wishlist is current or upcoming vehicles:

- Ford Bronco 4 door. If available in RHD
- 2021 F150. If available in RHD
- LC200 GX. Already have one, but would get one again in Aus if possible
- Grenadier. If service and dealerships are sorted
- Cruiser 79
- Ranger Raptor V6 or Ecoboost but only if F150 won’t be available in RHD as standard
- another FJ. It will be my 3rd

And then I would love to restore a FJ45 somewhere along the line.

I need to win the lotto
2017 Land Cruiser 200
2022 Corolla Cross (Yes. It's a Hybrid)
BushLapa Ratel nr 731

Patrol Y61 4.2TD is basically all I need for offroading / overlanding

Then because I’m working from home, any old daily automatic runabout will do as a daily, perhaps a new Polo TSi DSG and for the wife a new Fortuner that can double as a holiday car.

Pretty much all I need, to be honest.

Ineos Grenadier. I think it is going to be epic. Designed from the ground up with no compromise.

I think I am pretty much sorted.
The 79 for overlanding and the 76 for an expedition 4x4. I can still borrow the keys of the Yank Ranger or Little v8 Patrol if 'n need to have that boy moment.

Maybe just Maybe a shorty Cruiser with a LS Chevy.

You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4 :D

I would love any of these:

1. LC200GX - kitted for over-landing.

2. LC76V8 - but I'd need to sort it - it's not great on trails.

3. Ineos Grenadier subject to the concerns mentioned by others above.

4. I wouldn't mind the new Defender 90, but...
a 3.0 under-stressed turbo (diesel or petrol)
With coils & no air suspension.
All the fancy kak removed.

5. Ram 1500 3.0 CRD in RHD - the shortes load bed available

6. Iveco Daily 4x4with a camper container

7. Prado 150 D-4D SWB

8. Hilux SFA 2.8D 4x4 D/Cab with a tweaked D-4D motor

9. A fully restored modernized FJ45 with modern components like the FJ Company ones...

10. Chopped & tray fitted LC200GX

"No one ever got stuck - in mid air!"

2010 Fortuner D-4D 4x4 'Fearless'
2006 Conqueror Conquest 'Gearless'

I don't know why Manny needs any other vehicles. He has a Fortuner.

4th Generation Jimny.

dream came true.

After owning it for a year and a half, I wouldn't change it for anything else. Best car I have owned by far.

The soon-to-be-released Isuzu D-Max.

I don't need much more than that.
