What about a 2014-2016 Suzuki Grand Vitara then? 2.4 petrol 4x4 with low range - not so sure that you could get a 40mm lift, but it may be worth a look?

Get an other FJ. I know they are going at te lowest for R250k now.
Patrols are nice but little over-sized for some trails.
Fortuners also going for good prices. If you have Dune driving in mind a 4.0l Tuna will be a good choice.
