With the GWM Poer getting more popular by the day, there's companies that started to cater for those that are in love with their cousins

I have to agree with Manny: 50,000kms is in no way "long term" these days. In 1980, yes.

Whats wrong with quoting posts ?

This thread would have been very different 2 years ago, nice to see open minds.
Enjoy the new vehicle. I will watch this with interest as a bakkie might be in my future.

Yes, where they used to copy 24 year old Isuzu engines and 20 year old Toyota or Nissan bakkie bodies, they now copy newer engines and bodies and make more effort to fit their own grills and dashboards...
Vast improvement...

Looks like the Towbar is on.

Lissie, you say you bought the 'Passenger' version.
In SA you get to ranges:
Commercial
Luxury
I assume Passenger is Namspeak for luxury...?

You tired and confused old man.
You get Passenger and Commercial.
The Passenger has different body cladding, different front bumper, full LED head- and taillights, and the real leather interior and that fancy step that makes it easier for us fat people to climb into the back.
Passenger comes in LS (Luxury Special) and LT (Luxury Tourer)
Commercial comes in an S, SX and DLX.
All come with the same 2l with 120 kilobats, but the commercial has a manual option.
