And the width is a problem as we need to stop at a shopping center sometimes and their parking bays are getting narrower.
Who's is the biggest?

Glad you also attended school, now and again.
I understand where you guys ate coming from in terms of your measurements. But won’t it be a better comparison if the measurements are volume measurements?
It’ll please me tremendously if you could redo the calculations

As a shithot builder, I can inform you that the standard height of an opening is 2.10m.
Your standard garage or sliding door has a 2.10 floor to lintel height.
You do get a 'Caravan' garage door height, which gives you a DLO (Day light opening) of 2.30m.
My garage has a floor to lintel height of nearly 2.50m, but a DLO of 2.35m because the garage door restricts the aperture.
But I can pull the cord & force is back to get over 2.40m usable.
ALL vehicles you can generally buy & drive on a 'Code 8' or 'EB' License are under 2.10m high on date of purchase.
Obviously the Iveco Daily 4x4 & the Unimogs are much higher, but you can't drive them on a Code 8/EB license.
So comparing standard heights is pointless as all stock vehicles are well under 2.10m high.
It's also pointless as virtually no person keeps his height stock, they all do suspension lifts, add Roof racks, Roof Top Tents, fit Jerry cans & gas Bottles, fit Thule Roof Boots etc etc..
So, nice tangent Mike - but a pointless exercise...

Important parameter should be 'undervolume'
... Length*Width*ClearanceHeight
... and there 130 would likely prevail ,
... also with its PayLoad of 1.4 tons ?

What about the Ash Tray draw length and volume Chas and Mike?

I think it’s about time you lock this thread and suspend said members that dare come up with different ideas.

... talking of height ... I popped outside and measured my tow-ball altitude ...
65 cm above ground level and SAB recommendation is a max of 46.5 cm,
... even moving to bottom slot of my drop-plate will only take me 8cm down,
... so will need another or make one with more slot positions ,
but then it’s going to be quite a constraining plough ...

@BushWacker : But you trailer is level when hooked, why do you want to drop your tow-ball? SAB is only a recommendation after all..?

... Level ?! ... my Mini-Met trailer is being towed like a VC at take off !
( ... even with the same/interchangeable 16” rims/tyres as the Defender.)
That’s what I need to address ... it should be towed slightly nose-down.

... ironically yes ... because the dimensional geometry of large vehicles affects key things like departure angles and turning circles etc and these are often further changed/compromised by later modifications such as
lifts, non-standard tyre sizes, bumpers, drop-plates, rim spacers etc etc !
Comes a stage when excessive size plus modifications etc are deemed less beneficial.
...
I seem to recall the 'Shadow' concept derives from the Bridgestone Trial Series 'Championships' courses unreasonably being laid out to the conspicuous advantage of small Jimnys etc and to the conspicuous disadvantage of large vehicles ... more tight turns and very close spaced poles and very few boulder beds, deep water drifts ... etc...etc ?
Departure angles, turning circles , clearances etc become very relevant in these circumstances.
