Manny , since I am the only one that have done it, and be that in a Jimny, sure you will allow me to claim The Gorge Extreme as no 91.

here's my opinion:

If a track/trail changes names and you do the track/ trail under the old and the new name... It counts as one trail/track

If a track/ trail has various sections and you do these various sections on separate occasions... It counts as one trail/track

That's my view and I think its the spirit of the trailmaster idea.

I lived and worked in Lesotho. I could claim at least 40-50 different passes or routes which very few have ever travelled.... but I don't think that its in the spirit of the trailmaster idea.

I've also done sections of Moegatle which only a handful of people have driven.... but it's still just Moegatle...1 trail...

Perhaps I misunderstand the spirit of the trailmaster idea.... but I don't think I do....

Anthony, in principal I support that, just one question, you have done De Wild many times. The new extreme mountain route, do you believe its the same? If the rules will be applied the same then i will withdraw my The Gorge Extreme. I will add The route I add this past weekend in the Waterberg, on a game farm near Modemole .

Rules is rules. Same for everyone. I am over 100 but some were done in the course of guiding groups so i don't count them. Christo also has a lot more than 100 but he also did some of those while working. Its supposed to be a fun thing designed to get people out and about. If you count one venue more than once then Anthony has probably done 100 this year. :D :D Nice thing to aim for but It is really no big deal.

I did 3 Provinces 3 times.
Each time I did it I did the Waterfall & Hels Hoogte.
I've also done the other two trails on the farm.

Other people go to 3P, only do the Mountain trail & skip Waterfall & HelsHoogte.

Do I count 3P as 4 trails (1. Mountain Route, 2. Waterfall & HH, + 3 & 4 the other two trails)?

I've done Moegatle many times, most times I do everything, Ou Ryperd etc. (I just skip Klipdrift) & I often do Koos Se Klim
Others go there, do the easy part of the trail & skip the klim - should I then get 3 credits for Moegatle?

The rules are clear: A VENUE COUNTS ONCE...

When we got to the top of MacDui, we sipped a gin or two ensure the sun sank...so then it was quite another trail down...
