Forum Upgrade

#1

Post by iandvl »

Folks - just a heads-up...

We're a little behind on software versions and I do need to get this up to date. However, before doing so, I'm going to have to check that all functionality works on the newer software version. Also, since there is quite a bit of customisation on this forum (look and feel, banners and adverts etc), I'm going to have to make sure that I get it re implemented when I upgrade. As such, I'll be working on an upgrade plan first.

For now, things carry on as planned and normal forum users can carry on as per normal. I'll be making a copy of the forum for development purposes. When I'm ready to do the upgrade proper I'll communicate this here and I will schedule downtime. But this will be in a week or two.

Chas, unlike a CCP 5 year plan, this won't result in a famine...
