Pilanesberg Game Drive Question

#1

Post by KurtG »

Howsit Action Groupies.

I have the Pajero and a recently acquired 2012 Honda Accord, a.k.a the “LOW RIDER”.

The Pajero is due a service in 1200km so I’m trying to keep the km low for as long as possible hence I’m using the Low Rider while I’m on leave.

We are going to Sun City for the long weekend and we’re considering doing a Pilanesberg game drive (self drive) on one of the days. Is it absolutely essential to have the higher vehicle or can we see enough with the Low Rider?

I haven’t been there in many years so need some advice on which vehicle to take.

Thanks.

... well reckon I’d drive my sons old Corsa
most places there without much hassle ...
... but then Im an “ EASY RIDER “ ...

... certainly the main route roads ...

may need more care on smaller roads
and not sure about mud & what rains have done ...
... Famous Fiver VoorLoper ...
... Veni Vidi Vici ...

Agreed
We have time share there and if the bush is lush, you won’t see much either.

But enjoy it. It’s beautiful

The rain might have caused tall grass growth, so the Low rider might just end up being more frustrating than fun

We decided against going on a game drive and instead had a look at the Crocodile Farm they have at the entrance to Sun City.

I counted over 100 crocs excluding the enclosure for the little ones....
