The fortuner battery has decided to say cheers ... can anyone send me details of where i can order / buy a battery in these lockdown times

Gavin, morning, rest assure you are not alone. My Fortuner , main battery also packed up, 2.5years old, just went dead on Sunday morning. replaced mine through local Toyota agent. Yes its essential, in my case I have to support my fleet and also do CPF support. Try your local agent. The problem is you cant go outside your area.

Gavin, late last night I went onto the Battery Center website.
They supply batteries.
But ONLY to essential services...
