Who recently visited Solitaire?

It was one of our highlights. Every year for the past 5, we stopped there for a cold beer and something to eat. The restaurant had character. The bar chairs were saddles. The whole place had a little something to it.

The shop across from the Restaurant made the best Apple Crumble. That's one of the reasons you also stopped there.

This year we got a surprise. The restaurant got revamped. The saddles are no more, and the place has the feeling of a morgue. Even the place where the Apple Crumble is sold is dead. You use to stand a a queue to get a slice. No more.

The place lost it's Mojo. We were so disappointed.

Certainly not worth stopping there anymore

I went there with Rainier Vermaak - the car bodies with function lightsthat welcome you. The dozens of sparrows, that awesome Apple Crumble & Tea.

Sorry to hear it got stuffed up...
