I spoke to someone at Renault who reckons the price will be similar to the Navara, but with more spec.

Sales should be alright. If they can match the Navara then they’ve done well.

Nissan after all do make the best selling model of bakkie so the Nissan brand is very popular with bakkie buyers.

XJ , i find it very interesting , everything is the same , except the weight . It does not make sense :o The more weight , the higher the fuel consumption ?? Or have i got it wrong ?? It should also affect a few other things in my mind ?? Load , speed etc

It makes perfect sense. The Merc is heavier, so slower & heavier on fuel.
