Just got in from our abattoir. Eskom proved to be it's reliable old self.

Genny kicked in.

No power....

Turns out the change over switch has gone on to the happy hunting grounds....

Took about an hour of fault finding to determine this.

Switched it over manually and problem solved ,(for now).

I think it has been overworked of late!

Now I'm wide awake and hope to doze off by 3.

Have to clock in at 06:30...

I was up till late last night - could't sleep - awake due to stress.

Used a large portions of savings to start a new business - which opened in January - but is not showing a profit yet.

Wife is involved in a labour dispute - may lead to retrenchment.

But above all, the thing that keeps me most awake at night is the possibility that my wife may not be in a position to pay my legal fees in the near future

We too are currently looking at opportunities.

The wife has her own business in the training industry. But we never know when legislation changes or money runs out and she no longer has a business.

Thus we are looking for a backup....

What business did you start?

A creche. In our neck of the woods, there are no real proper day-cares or schools for that matter. We have two boys, 2 & 4 respectively and had a need for a proper creche, so we started one. The idea is to convert it to a school as the boys get older.

Chas, when you sober up, re-read this post & then edit it so the contradictions & nonsense make sense...
