Wouldn't it be better to put the money away for your pension?

When Opel Lite came out I bought in first week
… 20+ yrs ago .. and was wifes car … kids transporter, shopper … etc etc then kids grew up and it became their car … couple light crashes and bashes … and now a general local hop-in to go to nearby shops etc.
Dont think its ever broken down but bodywork poor !
Recently it went through drift of water and got water in footwell and screwed few relays & its primitive ecu.
Im replacing latter with 2nd hand ecu (+/- R3k !)
and will sell mainly only to recover repair & slight upgrade cost and avoid next owner not leaving it in my name to pay his tolls, fines etc
So will be little money save-able … No Acorns !
and to get it off my name and not incur.

Maybe I’ll look at a fairly virginal Jimny 1.5 next
… as replacement.
