At the outstanding Year End Function of the Great & Glorious 4x4 Action Group a few weeks back, the generous folk (Geoff & Michael) of NF Performance Additives handed out a case load of NF Aircon Cleaner.

I managed to capture a can for myself & today I used it..

Here are my report....

The NF Aircon Cleaner...

The Instructions are to:
1. Remove the Pollen filter...

Then to set the fans to:
*A/C on
* Cold
* Recirculate.
* Full Blast
* All vents open...

The next step is to;
* Start the Vehicle
* Activate the NF Aircon Cleaner
* Close the door
* & run...

You then leave the vehicle running for 5 mins (or R200.00 if itsa V8).
I used this time to clean my cabin filter - which was damn dirty considering its only 6000km old.

The final step is to vent the vehicle - Fearless smelt like a cheap hookers perfume afterwards.
Youo open the doors & windows, discard the can of NF Aircon Cleaner.
Then let the vehicle continue running for another 5 mins (10 minutes/R400.00 in total).

Finally you can switch off & leave the vehicle standing open for a final 10 minutes...

And? End result? Tuna caught alight and burnt to a crisp but aircon is clean?

Frosty Fearless is not a Kuga.
Geoff, I had the rear A/C on full blast too...

I went for a drive.
It's 30*C outside.
Faint vanilla/hookers handbag smell that gradually faded.
A/C used to have this musty/stale/dusty/damp veld grass smell - that's gone!
A/C pumps like a 18 year old on a 3rd date - it was like a fridge inside Fearless.

Very happy...

I recommend it, but follow the instructions to the letter & use the opportunity to replace the cabin filter.

I parked Fearless on the lawn - don't do this inside your grudge...
