I've never really seen the point of a twin cab, or even a single cab raised bakkie.

It's like a reverse mullet - business at the back and party up front. Not very good at anything.

If you want a utility vehicle, get a utility vehicle. Forward control bus, van or flat bed - and yes, you get 4WD ones.

If you want a big car, get an SUV, and if you need to take the occasional load of rubbish to the dump, get a small trailer.
You sound like me dad. Must be a Jeep thing...

Your Dad sounds like a very sensible man! 😂

I agree with Apoc - why buy a Double Cab which tries to do the job of 3 vehicles (daily drive, van & trailer) but does none of those 3 tasks well.
Rather buy a daily drive (Sedan or some such) a 4WD van & a Trailer.

Obviously you'd need to buy, securely park & Insure all three, plus pay three license fees...
but other than those 3 major flaws, the 3 vehicle system is far better (if not cheaper or practical)...

Kak.

It is exactly for those three major flaws that D/C have the sale's figures to back it.

Kak.

It is for exactly that reason why Manny's post wasn't in jest.
