My Patrol in a new Youtube series

#1

Post by Anthony Forgey »

So I was invited to join in the filming of a new Youtube series called "Off Course 4X4". I had met the producer of the show when I camped at a spot in the Waterberg.

I was on of a few "guest vehicles" We drove the Hennops trail where the pilot episode was filmed. It was published on youtube last week.

The plan is to have the 3 core presenters and a few "guest" vehicles in each episode.

If you watch the video and enjoyed it, please "like" and "subscribe" to the channel.

Here's the Video

Thank you for the kind words gents. I pointed out the 1.2 psi comment (I was the very first view of the clip) Japie added the errata to the video description on Friday morning early. "Blow down tyres" was another funny, but overall I think episode 1 was a success.

OK managed to finish watching it properly.

Ant stood out for his presentation skills, humour, calm, easy demeanor & inability to make a chop of himself!
Well done Ant.

I was hoping the Disco wouldn't disappoint - sending a shaft through the wheel near the end proved it didn't.

As a #1 Isuzu fan who lusts for a MU-X I was disappointing with Joe Naidoo... :|

The presenter needs to have the voice over translated to international English - but other than that - a Great first attempt.
Hope he does well with the YouTube series.

Or... as he will say "Hope he do well with this Youtube series"... :D

I quite enjoyed it. Accent a little thick - so non- South Africans may struggle a little to understand.

However I thought the presentation to be pretty good and the trail looks appealing because of it.

I also like the fact that there were several vehicle brands and a good split between old and new.

Watched a few of the videos on FB. Enjoyed each one.
Not much to criticize because it beats Andrew Pierre St White with the missing lower tooth hands down, even if it is not fully in that category.
Well done!

Nice video! Well presented.
Sorry for the Disco. Not a usual failure by the sounds of it.
