Of course it begs the question - can we expect the same issues here?

My work vehicle is a 2.8 with 45k km on and no problems thus far.

Or is it an Aussie thing?

Our GD6 Hilux range does not come with DPF filters so I guess it is an Aussie related problem.
You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4 :D

SA's Hilux has the Euro 2 spec - thus no DPF.

ISIS also prefers it that way, they don't want dpf and turbo failures while driving to commit mass murder.
