We buy cars.

We Buy Cars seem to sell cars at really good prices. But I have heard there are no warranties given when you purchase a car and if you discover any issues with your purchase after taking delivery they will not do a thing about it.
What are your thoughts/experiences with We Buy Cars.

Maybe not quite what you are looking for we sold a wildtrack last week. We buy cars offered 410 and we got 445 from a Ford garage.
So yes they try and buy cheap and sell cheap. Their focus is volume.

I was looking at buying a TerranoII SWB from We Sell Cars in Pretoria. On the photos it looked good. The salesman send me a complete list of faults and some photos not shown in the advert. Stuff like turbo leaking oil was never mentioned in the advert. I feel that the salesman was honest with me regarding the Terrano. And I appreciated that. I did not buy the car.

We Buy Cars offer either voetstoets or they sell you an aftermarket warranty, the gamble is the same as buying any used car privately.
My son bought a Golf 6 TSI there last year, financed and all, car has been good so far. Like any used car, check it properly before you buy.
