How many friends have you made 4x4íng?

Me? Plenty

When we moved to Cape Town 10 years ago, we had no friends.

Then we started camping and 4x4íng. Today. We have plenty of friends. Most of them whom we met through camping or 4x4íng.

Did you meet any of your friends this way?

I also remember a lot who have disappeared as well. But the vehicles stay in the circle. I think of the Safari of Engel that belonged to a member who passed away.

A lot of good memories.

I once counted that I had met over 130 people through 4x4'ing.
But it's probably closer to 150 now.

But 'friends' in the true sense of the word - about a dozen through 4x4'ing.

I have made many enemies through 4x4'ing though. It's a gift I have...

I have met quite few people through 4x4'ing. Many of them I have contact with and it is good. Some I have wheeled with a few times and I would like to wheel with them again if the opportunity arises.

I've met some great people through this club and a few other 4x4 activities. There are some very genuine people that have taught me stacks in in a short space of time. Difficult to put a number to this.

I met some of my best friends through off-roading. We do not necessarily trample each other's doorways, but my life would be a lot emptier without them........................... even made some really awesome diesel [spit] Toyota driving friends!!! :D
