I'd actually say, snorkel, out of all the mods you can do to a 4x4, this is probably the most unnecessary.

For instance: As said before, a offroad bumper and a snorkel on an Amarok or a "long range tank" on a Patrol...
Or a bash plate on a Landy...

Have to disagree. And that from somebody that has actually ended up nipple deep in a pond, and lost a engine. Snorkel would have saved the day.

Assuming the snorkel that was fitted was sealed and designed for water use and not like 90% of them out there that are only for dust...biggest mistake people make is getting a snorkel fitted thinking it means they can now submerge the car without proper sealing.
